1Only one – refusing to trust and believe in Jesus.

There is no forgiveness for us from God if we die while still rejecting Jesus. The Bible tells us that if we don’t admit we’ve messed up and need Jesus’ forgiveness, we’re basically choosing hell rather than heaven.

It also tells us that, “Without faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6), and the object of faith is Jesus (Acts 16:31).

So there is no forgiveness for someone who dies without faith in Jesus (which basically means trusting him with our whole lives). But this also means that faith in Jesus is the only thing needed for us to be forgiven of everything. Simply trusting Jesus means we “please God” and can have a brand new life with him forever.
