2However you feel, wherever you are, whether you’re on operations or at home, there is someone who is always there for you. You can speak to God anytime and be sure that He cares for you more than you can imagine.

Prayer isn’t just sitting in silence doing nothing. No, it is all about actively talking to God. It is the main way for anyone who believes in Jesus Christ to share their feelings, problems and needs with Him.

Just like we would speak to other people, prayer is simply speaking to God. And God wants us to talk to Him because He cares about us and wants us to have a relationship with him. He doesn’t want us to be distant, but for us to bring our thanks, cares and worries to him. Wherever we are, we can talk to God quietly, out loud or in our heads, and He will always listen.

Prayer is special, but that doesn’t mean it should be hard for us to do. Nor is it just one way chatter, because we should be ready to hear the things that God has to say to us as well. It is the same as a phone call. There are times you talk, and there are times you should expect to listen.
